The Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill is a non-profit organization that provides a home away from home for families of critically ill children receiving treatment at the University of North Carolina Hospitals. In addition to comfortable beds, the house also features a communal kitchen, dining room, and living spaces where families can relax and connect with other families who are going through similar experiences.
Staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill is free for families, but the organization relies on donations and volunteers to keep the house running.
